Hurley is a wonderful place to live because of the people who quietly give their time, talents, and energy to our community. They may not seek recognition, but their efforts make a real difference to village life. The Hurley Heroes Awards are our way of shining a light on these unsung heroes and saying a heartfelt thank you.

 

We’d love to hear who you think deserves to be celebrated. You can make a nomination in any of the following ways:

Key dates:

 

• Nominations close: 20th September 2025

• Shortlisted nominees notified: by 24th October 2025

• Winners announced: on the night of the Hurley Charity Gala

 

Everyone nominated will be told that someone has put their name forward, and shortlisted nominees will be invited to join us after dinner at the Tithe Barn for drinks and the awards.

 

 

Good to know:

 

• You don’t need a Gala ticket to be nominated or to win.

• If a winner can’t attend, we’ll make sure their award reaches them.

• If you’re shortlisted but not at the full Gala, you’ll be warmly welcomed to the drinks reception and awards.

• Any small donation to Raise the Roof from those joining us would, of course, be gratefully received.

 

 

Celebrating Together

 

Our Hurley Heroes will be celebrated at the Gala, and their stories will also be shared on this website and on Hurley Online so the whole village can join in saying thank you.
